Bryan Stoll joined the DuPage County Health Department as an Emergency Response Training Coordinator in November 2004. He is currently one of three Emergency Response Coordinators at the agency, which serves a population of more than 900,000.

Current job duties include a focus on both the design and conduct of preparedness exercises, as well as coordinating agency training in Incident Command and the National Incident Management System. Mr. Stoll holds certification as an instructor for the Incident Command curricula through the Centers for Domestic Preparedness.

In addition to serving as a member of the Emergency Operations Group, which is tasked with management of emergency response for the agency, Mr. Stoll has been given the responsibility to coordinate training and exercises. This year, he led the planning team for the Chicago Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) Regional Exercise, and will be fulfilling that role again for the 2010 exercise.

Within the past several years, Mr. Stoll has served as the Exercise Director for multiple full-scale exercises. He has completed certification as a trainer for the Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP), and has been accepted into the Master Exercise Practitioner program through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Recently, he traveled to Washington, DC, where he was one of ten people who participated in a focus group at the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Health Affairs. Mr. Stoll frequently is called upon to assist health departments and other agencies in the region through evaluation of their preparedness exercises.

Prior to this, he was employed in the counseling field, primarily with alcoholism and substance abuse clients. Mr. Stoll holds a B.S. in Psychology and Human Services, and an M.S. in Human Service Administration from National-Louis University.
